उत्तरप्रदेश के आंगनवाडी केन्द्रों की बदहाली दूर करने के लिए अब उनका कायाकल्प की कवायद शुरू हो गयी है इसके लिए राजधानी लखनऊ जिले के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्थित 100 और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों का कायाकल्प करवाए जाने की तैयारी शुरू हो गई है जिले के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में करीब दो हजार आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र स्थित हैं इनमें से विगत वर्षों में करीव 500 केंद्रों को सीएसआर फंड और जन सहयोग से मूलभूत सुविधाओं से लैस करवाया जा चुका है। जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी अखिलेन्द्र दुवे ने आदेश जारी कर दिया है इसकी विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए वुधवार को वताया कि सीडीओ अश्विनी पांडेय ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्थित 100 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों की सूचे मांगी थी। यह सूचे उन्हें मुहैया करवा दी गई है। सीडीओ ने वताया कि चिह्नित किए गए 100 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों पर वच्चों के लिए पेयजल, फर्नचर, पुस्तकें, खिलौने, वॉल पेंटिंग, मार्ग, विजली, पंखा, ब्लैक वोर्ड सहित कई काम करवाए जाएंगे। शौचालय का निर्माण स्वच्छ भारत मिशन ग्रामीण के तहत करवाया जाएगा। जवकि पोषण वाटिकाओं का विकास मनरेगा के माध्यम से करवाया जाएगा। सीडीओ के मुताविक, आईसीडीएस के 549, प्राथमिक विद्यालयों 449, पंचायत भवनों में 220 और किराए के भवन में यह 1512 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र संचालित हैं
